Employment-based Green Card

Who it is for
- Meeting EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-4 or EB-5
- An employer and labor certification where these are required
- A current priority date under the Visa Bulletin
Documents
A basic preparation list. The competent authority creates the personal checklist based on citizenship and place of application.
- A valid passport and copies of its pages
- A completed application form and recent photographs
- Labor certification, the I-140 or I-526E, experience, education, civil status documents and the medical examination, depending on the category
- Proof of funds, accommodation and health insurance — where required
- A police clearance certificate, medical documents, translation and legalisation — if listed for the chosen category

- 4Complete the NVC stage and interview, or adjustment of status
After arrival
- Receive your permanent resident documents
- Work in line with the basis you declared in good faith
- Keep the full record of the petition and of your entry
