Express Entry
The online system for the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Skilled Trades programmes. Candidates enter a pool and receive invitations based on CRS scores and the current selection categories.

Who it is for
- Meeting at least one of the three programmes
- A valid approved language test
- An ECA for foreign education and proof of experience or funds where applicable
Documents
A basic preparation list. The competent authority creates the personal checklist based on citizenship and place of application.
- A valid passport and copies of its pages
- A completed application form and recent photographs
- IELTS General, CELPIP or PTE Core, or TEF/TCF; an ECA, experience, passport, funds and police certificates
- Proof of funds, accommodation and health insurance — where required
- A police clearance certificate, medical documents, translation and legalisation — if listed for the chosen category

- 4After an Invitation to Apply, submit the full PR package
After arrival
- Confirm permanent residence through the applicable process
- Obtain a SIN and provincial health coverage
- Meet the residency obligation of a permanent resident
