Work and the labour permit
A foreign worker is processed through a labour permit requested by the employer. Once granted, an LĐ visa and a temporary residence card are issued for the permit's duration.

Who it is for
- An offer from a Vietnamese employer
- Qualifications and experience as the position requires
- A police clearance certificate and a medical report
Documents
A basic preparation list. The competent authority creates the personal checklist based on citizenship and place of application.
- A valid passport and copies of its pages
- A completed application form and recent photographs
- The employment contract, your degree and proof of experience, a police clearance certificate and a medical report
- Proof of funds, accommodation and health insurance — where required
- A police clearance certificate, medical documents, translation and legalisation — if listed for the chosen category
