E-visa
The e-visa is applied for online and is open to citizens of every country. It is valid for up to 90 days, single or multiple entry, and is accepted at all international border checkpoints. As at the date checked, applications are filed only on the state portal.

Who it is for
- A valid passport with at least six months remaining
- A purpose of travel that the e-visa allows
- Payment of the fee on the official portal
Documents
A basic preparation list. The competent authority creates the personal checklist based on citizenship and place of application.
- A valid passport and copies of its pages
- A completed application form and recent photographs
- A scan of your passport page and a digital photo meeting the portal's requirements
- Proof of funds, accommodation and health insurance — where required
- A police clearance certificate, medical documents, translation and legalisation — if listed for the chosen category
Application steps
- 1Check your passport's validity
- 2Complete the form on evisa.gov.vn and upload your photo
- 3Pay the fee and keep the registration code
- 4Download and print the visa once it is decided
After arrival
- Respect the period stated on the visa, not the one you assumed
- The e-visa gives no right to work
- For a longer stay, arrange a separate basis
