Destination Thailand Visa
A multiple-entry visa of up to five years for remote work for clients outside Thailand, and for programmes such as Muay Thai or cookery training. Each entry allows a stay of up to 180 days with one in-country extension. As at the date checked, proof of funds from THB 500,000 and a minimum age of 20 are required.

Who it is for
- At least 20 years old
- Remote work for a foreign employer, or participation in an eligible programme
- Proof of funds from THB 500,000 through statements covering several months
Documents
A basic preparation list. The competent authority creates the personal checklist based on citizenship and place of application.
- A valid passport and copies of its pages
- A completed application form and recent photographs
- Contracts with foreign clients or proof of participation in the programme, plus bank statements
- Proof of funds, accommodation and health insurance — where required
- A police clearance certificate, medical documents, translation and legalisation — if listed for the chosen category

After arrival
- The visa gives no right to work for a Thai employer
