Documents
A basic preparation list. The competent authority creates the personal checklist based on citizenship and place of application.
- A valid passport and copies of its pages
- A completed application form and recent photographs
- The Universitaly or university confirmation, previous diplomas, language, funds, accommodation and insurance
- Proof of funds, accommodation and health insurance — where required
- A police clearance certificate, medical documents, translation and legalisation — if listed for the chosen category
Application steps
- 1Contact the university and have your qualification assessed
- 2Submit the free Universitaly pre-enrolment
- 3Obtain the national student visa
- 4After arrival, complete enrolment and request the permesso
After arrival
- Apply for the study permesso within eight working days
- Complete your enrolment at the university
- Obtain the codice fiscale and health cover
