Who it is for

• Meeting one of the Carte talent categories
• A contract or project, your qualification and the applicable salary or investment threshold
• Accompanying family can use the simplified talent famille card

Documents

A basic preparation list. The competent authority creates the personal checklist based on citizenship and place of application.

• A valid passport and copies of its pages
• A completed application form and recent photographs
• The contract or project, your degree or experience, proof of salary or investment and the host organisation's documents
• Proof of funds, accommodation and health insurance — where required
• A police clearance certificate, medical documents, translation and legalisation — if listed for the chosen category

4. 4Request the carte de séjour pluriannuelle within the applicable period

After arrival

• Apply for the multi-year card within the period stated on the visa
