Family reunification

Available to spouses or partners and the family members provided for of Serbian citizens, temporary or permanent residents and people granted asylum. Temporary residence may be issued for up to three years.

Documents

A basic preparation list. The competent authority creates the personal checklist based on citizenship and place of application.

  • A valid passport and copies of its pages
  • A completed application form and recent photographs
  • Certificates of relationship with a court translation, the sponsor's status, an invitation, funds and insurance
  • Proof of funds, accommodation and health insurance — where required
  • A police clearance certificate, medical documents, translation and legalisation — if listed for the chosen category
